Good comic but everytime i see him do his comedy, I think mitch hedberg which is a perfect five out of five but, I think he stole mitchs thing so that is why i give him a three also i give him a four for material cause mitch might have done it and made it funnier.
Extremely unique and intelligent humor. One-of-a-kind. He’s a little stiff on his show, but he’ll get the hang of it.
He is hilarious and whenever he talks its incredibly creative an I cannot stop laughing!
Not nearly as clever as his influences (Emo Phillips, Mitch Hedberg, Steven Wright) He makes me laugh at times, and he has interesting jokes, but his stage persona is that of a smarmy I’m smarter than you (although in his defense he really is) that sometimes seems hostile or ego hungry. I plan to see his new show, so I can see some new material and change my current opinion. It’s gotta at least be better than that God awful Mencia show. Overall a good comic in a sea of awful ones.
The material can be witty, but at times feels like it’s being forced to be clever, and his delivery is often sterile and unnatural. Essentially Demetri Martin is a Mitch Hedberg minion, with neither the edge nor the common touch.
his very child like way of creating jokes makes us see the humor in things we encounter everyday. and is think thats why he is awesome.
One of the very best clean comics. Definitely in the mold of his influences. Holds your attention in a very professional way.
Funny how some folks like his jokes more than his delivery. Many of his jokes would do less well in the hands of another comedian—his delivery is what makes them funny.
One of my favorites. His material never fails to impress. Excellent jokes and his routine is always impressive, whether it be visual or musical. His delivery isn’t as unique as that of his influences (Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg), but that doesn’t defect his performances in any way. He’s one of the best comics around, and I can’t wait to see more from him in the future.
He’s a really hit or miss comedian. Some jokes are spot on. Others are assumed funny because, well, he said it in a deadpan way. He’s creative and witty but a bit smarmy. I consider him the thinking man’s Carrot Top.
His jokes are funny and original. The way he tells them though is very annoying. He talks as if he is a child performing to adults which gets annoying.
