CK. simply gets my style of humor. His tired of bs in life attitude is really easy for most people to relate to.

So much of a bummer that it’s funny! Although Louis CK takes his audience inside his disturbingly cynical world, his voice echoes the wit of past legends like Sam Kinison, George Carlin, and Bill Hicks. You will not be disappointed! Also, he makes an effort to keep ticket prices lower than average by avoiding ticketmaster!!

He’s Carlin plus actual humor. He has the insight of Carlin combined with this bare-soul sincerity and hilarity that I honestly don’t see in any other comedian. He’s a comic revolutionary, and I’m sure we’ll start seeing a lot less “jokey” comedians and more honest comedians because of this man.

Louis’ writing voice is strong, witty, and dirty. His specials occasionally suffer from a lack of subject and tonal variety but the best jokes are hilarious and overall he’s a good comedian.

He’s one of the most original comics out there, and in my opinion the best.

Louis C.K. is the heir to George Carlin, in my opinion.  I think he’s absolutely brilliant.  He covers marriage (and now divorce/dating—I was bummed when he got divorced because his material on marriage was hysterical) and kids and everyday stuff with such originality and honesty.  He’s one of the realest comedians I’ve ever seen—and as a woman, I love that you can tell he appreciates women (whereas so many comedians seem to have a festering hatred/fear of women).

Louis C.K. is a comic that’s honest and someone you can relate to because he has a way of talking about things that everyone is thinking but no one would ever say. I love his humility and his ability to deliver in such a way that you forget that you were listening to a guy on stage.

Louis C.K. is a talented comedian whose unconventional rants about average life draw in the audience like mosquitoes to a bug zapper.  His sardonic outlook on life along with his hopeful pessimism embody a strange sense of satisfaction and comedy that will not be soon forgotten.
His material is not original and yet Louis uniquely owns his sets through perfect delivery, pace, and irritation that keeps us coming back.

Highly recommended for those who do not mind a dissonant brand of humor mixed in with foul language, or those from Boston.

Louis found the coveted sweet spot between the comic craftiness of a well-lived adult and the perspective of an innocent, unfiltered child. Less is more, all is nothing. Louis CK is balanced to perfection. Fantastic.

Fantastic Comedian; covers many hackneyed comedic topics (e.g. kids, marriage, technology etc.), but in such a fresh way and from such a fresh standpoint that you can’t help but love his act. Louis also has a way about telling stories that can only be described as a marriage between George Carlin and Aesop.

Just don’t like him. I like blue, I like sick, I like a lot of comics who love him. But his work leaves me laughless.

Great observational comedian, approaching fairly conventional topics in somewhat unconventional manners. His stage presence is relaxed, pleasant, and likable, despite the fun bit of sadism that laces most of his material. One of my favorites.

I honestly only like his material when he’s not swearing. His CCP special is one of my favorites, however I bought the HBO special he has and it wasn’t as funny to me.

I actually watched Shameless on my On Demand a couple weeks ago with my wife. It was the first time I had watched C.K. uncensored. We were rolling. I completely agree with Eddie. His stage presence is so natural it’s hard to believe he wrote down or practiced any of his material.

His routine about dealing with his kids is hilarious.

He attacks such stock comedy premises as raising kids, race relations, pet peeves with such bravado he gets high marks.

He is the best stand-up I have ever seen.  His material is very simple and conversational.  It is not that original or even that clever, but his delivery is perfect.  His style is so natural that one would think he was improvising.
