Good evening ladies and gents,
Tonight’s topic is why in the heartland of the entertainment industry are there no good venues and shows for up and comers. Why not start our own open mic? Why not create our own network of comedians that are funny, here already, and prepared to do the work?!? What I am suggesting is that we all get together, preferably this week and pool our accumulated strategies and networks. If we are logging onto websites and looking for work and trying over and over and over again when do we stop and ask ourselves if there is a better way? Why don’t we get together in a public place, use the already wide ranging social networking sites to advertise when and where we will be, and do what we do best; be hilarious!!!
