ImprovFM is a radio show like all the rest: engaging guests, hard-hitting issues, emotional outbursts, appropriate music and unique stories beyond imagination. Until we start to improvise… ImprovFM is every improv lover’s dream. Not only are the conversations improvised but so are the names, the stories, the songs, reports and sound effects! ImprovFM raises the stakes on real life. In and by their play, the performers create a parallel world, with its own rules, based solely on their own imaginations and interaction.
In Amsterdam presenter and improviser Gian van Grunsven collaborates with a talented group of Dutch improvisers, actors and comedians. ImprovFM broadcasts weekly from local radio station AmsterdamFM. In New York Gian will work with a great cast of American actors and comedians and perform in front of live audience at the main stage of the Peoples Improv Theater.
