Although this forum ain’t the most serious one out there ;-) I’m looking for real feedback and validation for a concept of mine that I’ve been working on for the past year.
The concept is Buck-A-Laugh.com (the site look and feel is there but no tools are active).
The idea comes from the fact of how hard it is for a new stand up comic talent to be seen and promoted, so I thought why not an online platform that gives the tools to do just that.
The concept is quite simple :
1. You create your account and upload a video
2. You set the price you want people to pay to view your video
3. Every time someone uses their token to view your video you get a % (TBD) of that $ amount you have set
You make money at the first view. You will be able to maintain a library of videos and we’ll eventually have tools for agents to recruit top talent in our system.
“yes but there is is youTube” absolutely agree with you, thing is before Youtube pay you for people to watch your video, it will take quite a lot of hits. I will strongly advise talent from posting their unique video on youtube and in our website only.
I already received great review and validation from a few talent, I thought of reaching to this forum for even more validation.
