The Boston Comedy Festival deadline is almost here. Don’t miss your chance to enter your submission! Submissions must be received by June 4. Here’s the information you will need to know
 

We are accepting submissions for the 2007 Stand-up Comedy Contest, in which $10,000 in prize money will be awarded.

Ninety-six comics will be selected to compete in the contest preliminaries (October 7th-10th) in various venues in Boston’s Theater District. The finals of the Contest will be held on October 13th at the Cutler Majestic Theater where eight of the top emerging talents will compete in front of talent scouts, managers and booking agents, as well as comedy fans.

The majority of spots are booked by tape submissions.

To apply for the contest please submit:
- DVD of a performance, up to 6 minutes long
- Bio/Headshots
- a check or money order for $35 US made out to
