Whatever does that mean? We strongly encourage our comics to bring people to the show and promote their asses off. Do not let the bringer factor scare you, if you would like to perform and are not sure if you can bring - please communicate with us and we will see where we can put you. As a side note - comics do receive comp tickets for most shows for a few of their guests.

]]>Some of Manhattan’s finest comedic filmmakers invite you to a night filled with comedic films, free hors d’vours and wine, and tacky holiday tinsel. Located at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center [208 West 13th Street in New York, NY], the film collection, entitled Hot Shorts for a Cold Night, highlights many of lifes’ trials and tribulations. If you find humor in treacherous dates, sperm, and confused British people, you’ll definitely be entertained.
The event is on Thursday, December 3. The night begins at 6:15 p.m. with a cocktail hour, followed by a screening of four short films and concludes with a 30-minute Q&A. Tickets are $5 with an R.S.V.P. (at hotshortscoldnight at yahoo dot com). If you like it, come out to the next Channel 101 NY live screening Wed, May 6 (http://ny.channel101.com/) for the debut of our 4th episode.
We have already found some performers, acts and filmmakers on the site have done really well and progressed with contracts. There is no contract with Noostar other than the terms and conditions on the site. All you have to do is sign up with an email or Facebook account and upload your videos. If you’re on this messageboard to promote your show, why not get it on tape and let us do some of the hard work for you?
Viewers are allowed to go online and vote for their favourites. Every week the votes of the Noostar audience lead to the compilation of charts for the best videos of each genre, as well as an overall chart for the ten videos that have received the most votes. We will also be promoting Noostar to industry insiders so performers will have a chance to be discovered by the best agents and agencies.
