Reviews of Russell Peters

Had never heard of him until my wife said we HAD to see him. 

He was halarious and now one of my favorite comedians.

If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant or have had exposure to lots of different cultural backgrounds, Russell Peters will make you cry laughing.  His observations and imitations of different cultures and their stereotypes is insanely funny.

He makes fun of everybody.  Fuck you white liberal guilt pussies who can’t handle race jokes.  Watch “Red, White and Brown” and tell me the audience doesn’t love him.    That audience is the fucking United Colours of Benetton and no one is unhappy.   

I have to agree with Giantsfreak that being a visible minority does endow a comic with an apparant license to cross more race lines.    This is a reality of a plural society and it can create some animosity.  Giantsfreak’s comment, however, ultimately reeks of bitterness. 

He stuff is superficial and at times one-dimensional, but he is polished and comfortable on stage and thus easy to watch. He is trying to be a comic.  Let Al Sharpton lose sleep over race relations.

He gets away with racist jokes because he’s Indian, not even good racist jokes either
