Not the funniest comedian, but one of the most notable pioneers for “dark comedy” and possibly one of the best writers comedy as seen. Hicks was a purist at heart and never detoured from his beliefs. He is one of the most admirable artists in the comedic craft and will always be remembered by his confident, crowd commanding attitude and perseverance of the distaste he received while he was alive.

You cannot deny this man is in his own stratosphere. Still completely entertaining, truthsayer and relevant. Even with politics, he is still dead on! Sadly. I would have followed him into a Revolution, LOL!

Best comic ever!!! I just wish I got to see him live. His material was hilarious but he was even more funny when the audience didn`t get it.
