Chef Returns: South Park vs. Scientology Round 2?

South Park's Chef ReturnsHaven’t had a chance to comment on the South Park episode possibly banned by Tom Cruise and Scientology, but Matt Stone and Trey Parker were true to their word when they suggested there’d be more with their statement that Scientology had “won this round.”

The title of the first new South Park of the season: “The Return of Chef!” Apparently, Chef comes back to town but the boys notice something is a little off about him (something more than his voice, one assumes).

The Return of Chef brought a return of the burn on scientology...but a less straight forward one.  either matt and trey are shaking in their boots, or just thought it’d be funnier, but in fact most of the scientology disses in the new episode are about the “Super Adventure Club” a ‘fruity little club.’ The most obvious parallel is when the leader of the S.A.C is telling the boys about the clubs secret (why they molest children?  immortality and theton..oh wait, some other word levels) and at the bottom of the screen you see THIS IS WHAT THE SUPER ADVENTURE CLUB ACTUALLY BELIEVES (of course the same statement made while explaining the secret of scientology...)
When chef returns (as a series of sound clips edited together) the boys notice he’s a FREAKIN’ PEDOPHILE!  This is because he’s been brainwashed by the Super Adventure Club (read: Scientologists).  Eventually Chef is killed off (or is he?  muhahahaha) and a loving tribute is given (basically breaking down to down hate Issac, hate the scientologists).
The funniest part is still that somehow this scientology cult is able to continue to brainwash celebrities (and of course countless others) into believing the babble of a long dead SCIENCE FICTION WRITER.  But to get back on topic....an excellent episode to start the new season off with =)

Matt and Trey are freakin’ geniuses. They managed to piss of so many people, and The Return of Chef and Trapped In The Closet are their best so far. Isaac Hayes was great, and Chef was one of he best characters on South Park (next to Kenny, of course). All you people who think Isaac Hayes was “right” to quit, you really can’t help but laugh at it. We all know Isaac Hayes is secretly watching South Park.

A visit to the set of "Extract", Mike Judge's next comedy. It involves a factory owner's life going awry after one of his employees loses a testicle. He filming it independently, so no studio idiocracy this time.
